General Rules and Regulation

 

Keeping in view the aims and aspirations of Bhakta Bala B.Ed. College of Education certain rules and regulations have been framed to be strictly followed by trainees. These rules have been formulated not to bind the trainees within the premises but to make them understand the value and standard of discipline, which, when, followed meticulously by the trainees, help them to emerge into a more determined, matured and knowledgeable individual. A full hearted support from our trainees and guardians are thus solicited.

 

1.      Students shall strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the College issued from time to time relating to their studies, examinations conduct and discipline.

 

2.      The students, who secure admission on the basis of false certificate/marks sheet or on the basis of any misrepresentation of facts or illegal means, shall be summarily cancelled and all fees paid by him/her shall be forfeited. Legal action shall also be taken against them.

 

3.      Candidates are required to enclose along with their application, the affidavit in before a Notary Public stating that all information given by them is true.

 

4.      Application accompanied with requisite documents/enclosure received after the last date shall be summarily rejected.

 

5.      No refund of fees will be made on withdrawal of admission under any circumstances.

 

6.      In case the candidate fails to submit the required documents admission shall be treated as cancelled and no request for refund of fees will be entertained under any circumstances.

 

7.      If the applicant is employer’s 'No obje c tion certificate' with proof two year leave must be submitted during the time of admission.

 

8.      Trainees can avail College facilities only after the course commences and only till the course in completed.

 

10. College will not be responsible for any loss of belongings left unattended by the trainees at the college premises.

 

11. Intake of any sort of intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited. Chewing of Paan/Gutka/Chewing Gum is also prohibited including Smoking & Drinking and taking any drugs.

 

12. A trainee has to ensure at last 75% attendance for attaining eligibility for appearing at the University

     Counselling.

 

13.   A medical certificate will be required if there are more than three days consecutive absence owing to      

  illness.

 

14. All College properties have to be handled with care. Any damage or pilferage caused to college properties by any trainee will be appropriately charged or deducted from the Caution Money.

 

15. Trainees should strictly adhere to instructions regarding entry/exit regulations, parking of vehicles etc.

 

16. Ragging is banned in college and any one indulging in ragging process is likely to be punished  

      appropriately.

17. All trainees are supposed to attend the classes in proper uniform suited for a gentle man/woman.

 

18. Male trainees must have short and properly groomed hair, clean and well trimmed nails.      They

       should attend classes every day with a clean shave and polished shoe.                     

 

19. Female trainees should have properly groomed hair, clean and well trimmed nails without nail        

       polish. Perfumes should not be used while attending theory or practical classes.

 

20. During class hours wearing the College Identity Card is compulsory.

 

21. These rules come into effect immediately and equally apply on all trainees of Institution.

 

22. Institution holds the right to introduce, alter, amend or change only or all the rules from time to

      time if found necessary.  

 

23. Interpretation of these rules will always be made by the designated persons of the college and

       shall be final and binding on all trainees.

 

24. For any legal dispute the jurisdiction will be Kolkata Court only.

 

25. Discontinuance:

 

(i). In case a trainee is found not paying his/her fees within 14 days from the due date he/she

      will fetch strong disciplinary measures.                  

 

(ii). If a trainee at their own opt to drop out from the course then the case will also be treated   

       a discontinuance in such a situation, the course fee and other changes already paid will

       not be refunded under any circumstances.

 

           (iii). In case of absence for 15 consecutive days, the College must be informed with a valid

                    reason else the case will be treated as discontinuance.              

 

(iv). In case of misconduct and violation of college norm, trainees may fetch

        disciplinary action leading to discontinuance.

 

 

 
Attendance & Discipline:

For one year B Ed. under Kalyani University: The institute maintains a high standard of discipline. Participation in all curricular and co-curricular programmes /activities, taking terminal examinations and test examinations is compulsory for every student. Observing norms of the institute is imperative for all.

Every student is required to attend at least 80% of the total number of classes in order to be eligible for taking the final university examination.

The college expects its students to conduct themselves in a disciplined and dignified manner in the college and outside. In this regard some provisions are as follows:

The principal/Teacher-in-charge may ask a student to leave the college if he/she considers such action necessary in the interest of the institution or may bring such matter of grave nature to the GB for a decision without assigning any reason for that.
